Includes hand drawn diagrams and mounted fabric samples.; Includes table of contents and course of study.; Written while the author was a teacher in the Boston Public Schools, this unpublished manuscript was intended for publication and use as a textbook for women who aspired to be dress designers. A manual of dress design and a history of fashion from the Egyptian era to 1955, it includes pen and ink drawings and textile samples.
